Royal Presidio Chapel
The Royal Presidio Chapel also known as San Carlos Cathedral is located on Church Street. The Chapel was once the San Carlos Mission then later the mission was moved to Carmel and renamed. John Steinbeck mentions the San Carlos Cathedral in his book Tortilla Flat.
