CENTRAL AVENUE
Central Avenue is the neighborhood of John Steinbecks childhood. The neighbors Adam Trask family were portrayed in the book East of Eden. John Steinbecks grandfather and grandmother on his mothers side also lived in on Central Avenue. Many of the old Victorian homes that existed while John Steinbeck was growing up are still standing today.
